General guidelines for inserting an item on Hitflip

• Please insert the correct version of the item on Hitflip (for example, don't insert a rental copy as a sale copy, don't insert a normal edition as a special edition). If you are not sure if you have inserted the correct version it can help to compare the data with the information in the detail view of the item on Hitflip.
• Video games with online gameplay must only be swapped with a usable registration code included. Their online ability must not be affected or limited.
• Media supplements (e.g. DVDs and games) from newspapers and magazines must not be listed on Hitflip.
• VHS cassettes must not be listed on Hitflip.
• The listing of pirate copies on Hitflip is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate legal action!
• Any attempt to commit fraud will result in criminal prosecution by Hitflip!

Please rate the items you have inserted by the following guidelines.

• New
  Completely new, unused item in the original packing (including cellophane wrapping where appropriate)
  For books: no damaged copy.

• Like new:
  Für Bücher: offensichtlich ungelesene Ausgabe in Topzustand. Schutzumschlag ist unbeschädigt; Seiten sind sauber und weisen weder Notizen noch Knicke irgendwelcher Art auf. Lässt sich noch als Geschenk verwenden, kein Mängelexemplar.
  

• For CDs, DVDs and Videogames: apparently unopened item in top condition. No scratches or other signs of use. Cover as well as booklets or instructions are completely undamaged. Can still be given as a gift. Cellophane wrapping can be missing.
  For books: minimal signs of wear on the cover, where possible with cover jacket, no missing pages, very slight creases on pages possible, no handwritten notes, minimal signs of wear on the binding, no damaged copy.
  For CDs, DVDs and video games: minimal signs of wear on the item or the case (give details about small scratches in notes about the item condition), no broken "teeth" in cd cases, contains instructions and booklet. Item is fully functional.

• Acceptable:
  For books: some scratches and average signs of wear on the cover or binding, slighty battered or discoloured edges, no handwritten notes in the text, no missing pages, can be a damaged copy.
  For CDs, DVDs and Video games: slightly damaged covers, minimal scratches on the disc, must be in full working order.

• Incomplete:
  For books: binding or cover jacket is missing, possibly scratches and signs of wear on the cover and binding, no handwritten notes in the text, no pages should be missing, it can be a damaged copy.
  For CDs, DVDs and Video games: case, booklet and/or instructions are missing, Disc could be lightly scratched, but must be in working order.
